Anyone who spent their summer holidays in Alcocéber in the eighties, nineties or noughties remembers the Hotel Jeremías: a white building of arches and terracotta roof tiles, surrounded by palm trees, with its pool, its gardens and Cargador beach just a few steps away. Many families came back every summer, and for lots of people it was their first memory of a seaside holiday.
This website tells its story, with photographs from the time, and answers a question many people still ask when they search for Hotel Jeremías: what stands there now, and where can you stay in Alcocéber?

Is the Hotel Jeremías still open?
The hotel stopped trading under that name around 2017. The building was completely transformed and in 2019 it reopened as Alcossebre Sea Experience, a four-star aparthotel with 90 apartments, on the same street (Carrer els Camps, 3) and facing the same beach. If you are looking for the old Jeremías, this is its direct successor: the same location, the same beach and a long tradition of beachfront hospitality.
